This workshop will focus on a detailed approach to breaking down the text. Using this specific breakdown method will enablyou to approach your auditions with greater confidence and clarity.
The two hour intensive will focus on:.

- Emotional Preparation
- Working backwardss so you can work forward
- Objectives
- Super-Objective
- Conflict
- Playing your action fully
- Motives
- Beat changes
- The uses of the "magic if"
- Urgency/raising the stakes
- Emotional parallels
- Bringing yourself to the work
- Working from instinct
- Exercises to stimulate the creative imagination
- Use of the backstory to create meaningful relationships
